DIAGNOSIS This specific LED state (Drum flashing, Ready solid) indicates the printer has detected the drum unit is near the end of its life but is not yet in the lockout 'Drum Life End' state. Print jobs are often halted.
FIX Acknowledge the warning to proceed. Press the 'Go' button once. The drum light may stop flashing. Attempt to send the print job again. The printer should complete the job.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Open and close the front cover firmly. This can clear the temporary warning state. If the drum light continues to flash solidly after pressing 'Go,' perform the full drum counter reset procedure (open cover, press 'Go' 3 times, close cover).
HEADS UP This is a pre-warning. Monitor print quality for streaks or fading. When the warning escalates to a solid Drum light with a flashing Error light, the drum counter reset will be mandatory to continue printing.
