DIAGNOSIS The joystick on this model has a very light, almost floppy feel by design. It's not a positive-click mechanism like some other brands.
FIX Test its function, not its feel. Press it in to activate the OSD. Then gently nudge it up, down, left, and right. If the OSD menu navigates reliably in all directions, the joystick is working as intended.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the OSD fails to activate, opens randomly, or navigates erratically without touch, then there is a mechanical fault. There is no software calibration for this.
HEADS UP The loose feel is intentional to prevent damage from over-force. You operate it with a light press and gentle directional nudges, not firm clicks. Getting used to its sensitivity is part of the learning curve.
