Diagnosis
The infinite switch for that specific burner element is likely faulty. The clicking is the switch's contacts rapidly trying to make connection.
How to Fix It
Unplug the range. The infinite switches are behind the control panel. Remove the knobs and the panel trim. You'll see the switches mounted to the backsplash. The switch for the large burner (usually the front left) is the one you need. Disconnect its wires (note positions). Remove the mounting screws. Replace it with part number 5304518347 or equivalent. Reconnect wires exactly as before.
If That Didn't Work
The burner element socket itself could have corroded or loose terminals, causing a poor connection. Swap the large burner element with a working one from another size-compatible burner. If the problem moves, replace the burner element.
Heads Up
The switches are specific to burner wattage. Do not swap a switch from a smaller burner to the large one. It will overheat and fail.
