DIAGNOSIS Water is escaping from a contained path. The location points to either an overfull drip tray, a clogged drain system, or a failed internal hose connection.
FIX First, empty and clean the drip tray and its internal float sensor. Second, remove the brew group (press the two green buttons). Inspect the area underneath for coffee ground buildup. Clean thoroughly with water and the brush. Reinsert the brew group until it clicks.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The leak may be from the internal water tank connection or a cracked internal drip tray. Check the orange silicone gasket where the tank connects to the machine. Ensure it is clean and seated properly.
HEADS UP Do not ignore leaks from under the machine. Water contacting electrical components behind the drip tray area can cause error codes or permanent damage.
