DIAGNOSIS The motor is encountering high resistance and the protection circuit is engaging. This is caused by ingredients jamming the blades or an overloaded cup.
FIX Unplug the base immediately. Remove the cup. Check for a large, solid item (whole strawberry, large ice cube) physically jammed between the blades and the cup wall. Dislodge it. Reduce the ingredient load. Ensure you are using the correct layering order (liquids first, hardest frozen items last). Restart with a smaller volume, below the max line.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The motor thermal protector may have tripped. Unplug the base and let it cool down at room temperature for 30 minutes. This resets the internal safety. Attempt to blend a small amount of water only to test function.
HEADS UP The QB3001 has a pulse-style motor, not a continuous duty motor. Do not hold the button down for extended periods with thick or frozen mixtures. Use short, repeated pulses. Continuous operation on high-resistance tasks will trigger the overload protection.
