the orange clean light is on my ninja coffee maker but i just cleaned it. do i have to run it again?

Yes, you likely need to run a clean cycle on a different mode. The Intelligent Clean Cycle Indicator tracks scale buildup per mode (Grounds, Pods, Hot Water).

FIX: Run a clean cycle on the mode you haven't cleaned recently.

  1. If you primarily brew with grounds and last cleaned on Grounds mode, run a clean cycle on Pods mode (with the Pod Adapter installed) or Hot Water mode.
  2. If you use pods most, ensure the Pod Adapter is installed and run the clean cycle through it.
  3. If you use Hot Water mode at all, run an additional clean cycle in Hot Water mode.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the light stays on after cleaning all modes, you have hard water causing rapid mineral buildup. You may need to descale more frequently than the indicator suggests. Use a descaling solution or white vinegar, and ensure you run the full 75-minute cycle without cancelling it.

HEADS UP: Ignoring the orange light will eventually cause the brewer to stop mid-brew and display "CLn," requiring an immediate clean cycle.
