Diagnosis
The programmed 'Smoothie' cycle has a fixed duration and ramp-up pattern. Inadequate results are typically due to improper loading order, not a machine fault.
How to Fix It
Adhere to the correct loading sequence: liquids first, then soft fruits or greens, then hard/frozen ingredients last. Do not exceed the 'max' fill line on the Wildside jar. This ensures ingredients fall into the blades correctly during the cycle.
If That Didn't Work
For consistently chunky results with your specific recipe, create a custom cycle in the Blendtec app. Manually program a longer blend time or add a pulse sequence at the end.
Heads Up
Using the 4-sided 'Wildside' jar for a single-serve smoothie will often fail because the volume is too low for the blades to create a proper vortex. Use the smaller 'Twister' jar for single servings.
