Diagnosis
You’re not confirming your selection. This model requires you to press the button, then press the ‘Start/Pause’ button to actually activate the chosen preset.
How to Fix It
Press your desired preset (e.g., ‘Fries’). The display will show the default time and temp for that preset. You can now adjust time or temp using the + and - buttons if you want. Finally, press ‘Start/Pause’ to begin cooking. The display will count down.
If That Didn't Work
The control panel might have a sticky button. Clean the front panel carefully with a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture seeps into the seams.
Heads Up
If you don’t press ‘Start/Pause’ within a few minutes of selecting a preset, the unit may go into standby and you’ll need to reselect.
