DIAGNOSIS The magnetic folio cover is not engaging correctly with the monitor's metal frame. This is usually due to the cover being misaligned or the magnets being too weak for the monitor's weight.
FIX Ensure the cover is perfectly aligned. The monitor must be centered within the folio's fold. The front cover should fold all the way back so its edge magnets connect firmly with the back of the monitor. Form the triangle stand shape slowly, applying pressure at the hinge to create a firm crease.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The included cover is lightweight. For a more stable stand, you may need to use the monitor on a flat surface with the cover simply propping it up at a low angle, or invest in a third-party portable monitor stand with a stronger kickstand mechanism.
HEADS UP The stand function is inherently less stable on soft surfaces like a bed or couch. Use the monitor on a hard, flat desk or table for best results. The magnetic attachment is designed for portability, not for resisting bumps or heavy typing vibration.
