the touch buttons on my ninja combi are unresponsive or going crazy on their own

— asked by Jordan

DIAGNOSIS: Moisture or steam has likely gotten into the control panel, or there's a sticky residue on the surface confusing the capacitive touch sensors.

FIX: Unplug the unit and let it dry out completely for at least 24 hours. Wipe the entire control panel area with a dry, soft cloth. If you've been cleaning with sprays, a tiny amount of moisture can seep under the edges. For sticky residue, use a cloth dampened with just water (no harsh cleaners) and dry it thoroughly.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: After a full dry-out, if the problem persists, it could be an internal fault with the control board. At that point, contact Ninja support. This is a known vulnerability with the touch controls on these units.

HEADS UP: When cleaning, never pour water or spray cleaner directly onto the control panel. Always apply your cleaner to the cloth first, then wipe.
