the keep warm light is blinking on my duo after cooking, is that normal?

— asked by Jordan

DIAGNOSIS A blinking ‘Keep Warm’ light after cooking is normal operation. It indicates the function is active and maintaining a safe holding temperature, cycling the heater on and off.

FIX This is not a fault. No fix is required. 1. The ‘Keep Warm’ function activates automatically after most pressure cooking programs complete. 2. The blinking light confirms it is on. 3. The default hold time is 10 hours. 4. To turn it off, press the ‘Keep Warm/Cancel’ button once. The light will turn off.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the light is blinking but the food inside is cold, the heating element may have failed. Verify by feeling warmth from the base during a ‘Keep Warm’ cycle.

HEADS UP The ‘Keep Warm’ temperature is approximately 145°F to 172°F. Do not store perishable food in the pot on ‘Keep Warm’ for more than 2 hours total to avoid bacterial growth.
