DIAGNOSIS The three-beep alarm and ‘Lid’ message mean the unit does not detect the lid as properly closed and locked. The magnetic lid sensor is not engaged.
FIX 1. Open the lid fully. 2. Check for any obstructions (food, sealing ring) on the lid rim or pot rim. 3. Ensure the silicone sealing ring is fully seated in the lid groove. 4. Align the triangle mark on the lid with the ‘Open’ mark on the pot base. 5. Close the lid firmly until you hear a distinct click. 6. Rotate the lid clockwise until the triangle mark aligns with the ‘Closed’ mark. The ‘Lid’ message should disappear.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue may be with the magnet in the lid or the sensor in the base. Test by placing a strong refrigerator magnet on the ‘Lid’ sensor spot on the pot’s rim. If the error clears, the lid magnet is weak.
HEADS UP Never force the lid closed. The ‘Lid’ error is a critical safety interlock to prevent operation without a sealed lid.
