DIAGNOSIS Static electricity or environmental interference is triggering the capacitive touch buttons. This is common in dry climates or with certain types of flooring. A film of dust or cleaner residue can also cause erratic behavior.
FIX Power off and unplug. Wipe the entire control panel area with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. If that doesn't help, dampen the cloth slightly with water only (no chemicals), wipe, then dry thoroughly. This removes conductive residue.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Use the veSync app for all control and enable 'Child Lock' in the app. This electronically disables the physical touch panel, preventing phantom touches while allowing full remote control.
HEADS UP Placing the purifier on a grounded surface (not a wool rug) and using a humidifier in the room can reduce static buildup. Avoid using screen cleaners or disinfectant wipes on the panel.
