Diagnosis: The filter needs to be replaced. The filter replacement reminder activates after approximately 2000 hours of operation. When all four segments of the indicator light up, it's time for a new composite filter.
Fix: Replace the filter.
- Disconnect the air purifier from power.
- Remove the front cover by holding the lower corners and pulling up.
- Take out the old filter. Ensure you removed any plastic bag from the new filter before starting.
- Place the new filter into the housing with the pull straps facing outward.
- Reattach the cover by aligning the top tabs into the unit's slots, then pushing the bottom into place until you hear a click on both sides.
If that didn't work: The indicator may need a reset after filter replacement. Unplug the unit for one minute, then plug it back in. If the lights remain on with a new filter installed, contact customer service.
Heads up: With heavy use, you may need to replace the filter more frequently than every 6 months, regardless of the indicator.
