Diagnosis
The issue is either a failed turntable motor or a physical jam. The most common cause is a seized motor due to grease drying out or a failed internal drive gear.
How to Fix It
First, rule out a simple jam. Unplug the oven. Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Manually try to rotate the central hub underneath with your fingers. If it does not turn, inspect for food debris or a broken piece of the roller ring lodged in the mechanism. Clear any debris.
If That Didn't Work
If the hub is clear but the motor still does not run when powered, the turntable motor is defective. This motor is located directly beneath the oven floor and is a replaceable component. You must source the specific motor for the CMW-200.
Heads Up
Operating the microwave without a spinning turntable will result in extremely uneven cooking. Do not bypass this function. The motor is a low-voltage component; do not apply power to it directly during testing.
