Diagnosis
Error E-2 indicates a door switch fault. The control unit does not detect the door as securely closed.
How to Fix It
Power cycle the unit. Unplug it, wait 60 seconds, and plug it back in. Open and firmly close the door until you hear a definitive click. Ensure nothing is obstructing the door latch area.
If That Didn't Work
Inspect the door alignment and latch. Check for food debris or a small object jammed in the door seal or latch mechanism. Visually confirm the door hook engages fully with the switch inside the frame.
Heads Up
Do not attempt to bypass the door switches. If the door or hinge is visibly warped, the unit requires professional service. The switches are safety-critical components.
