Diagnosis
The internal condensate tank is full and the safety float switch is engaged, or a thermal fuse on the control board has blown from a power surge.
How to Fix It
Drain the internal tank first—it's the most likely cause.
- Unplug the unit.
- Find the rubber drain plug on the lower back corner.
- Pull the plug, place a tray underneath, and let all water drain out. Tilt the unit slightly forward to help.
- Re-insert the plug securely, plug the unit back into a known-good outlet, and press the power button.
If That Didn't Work
Perform a hard reset. Unplug the unit from the wall. Press and hold the physical power button on the unit (not the remote) for 30 seconds. Then, while still holding the button, plug the unit back in. Release the button after 5 more seconds.
Heads Up
If the hard reset does nothing, the issue is internal—likely a blown thermal fuse or failed control board. These repairs require disassembly and technical skill. Check if you're still under warranty.
