DIAGNOSIS The WPS or standard connection process is timing out. This is almost always a router compatibility issue or an incorrect network password.

FIX Use the WPS push-button method. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the light flashes. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. Wait for the printer's Wi-Fi light to stop flashing and stay on.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Connect it via USB cable to a computer first. Install the full driver software from Canon's website. Use the "Wireless Connection Setup" tool in the Canon utilities during installation. It will guide the printer onto the network.

HEADS UP This printer does not support 5GHz networks. Ensure you are connecting to your router's 2.4GHz band. The network name (SSID) and password are case-sensitive.
