DIAGNOSIS The fryer only connects to 2.4GHz WiFi networks. It cannot see or join 5GHz networks.
FIX On your phone, forget your home network. Reconnect to your 2.4GHz band (often named something like "YourNetwork_2G"). Ensure your phone is on that band during setup. Place the fryer within 10 feet of the router. Hold the WiFi button for 3 seconds until the light blinks slowly, then follow the app prompts.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Some mesh network systems cause issues. Try temporarily disabling the 5GHz band on your router during setup. Or, create a guest network that is 2.4GHz only for the fryer.
HEADS UP The smart features require a constant connection. If your WiFi drops, the fryer will operate manually but scheduled cooks will fail. The app connection is for convenience, not critical function.
