Diagnosis
Water leaking from the bottom indicates a loose drain plug, an overfilled reservoir, or a cracked internal water line/tank. The drain plug is suspect #1.
How to Fix It
Immediately unplug and move the unit. Dry the bottom thoroughly. Locate the silicone drain plug on the back or bottom—ensure it is pushed in completely and seated snugly in its hole. It can work itself loose over time from vibration. This fixes 90% of leaks.
If That Didn't Work
The leak may be internal. Overfilling the reservoir past the MAX line can cause splash-over into internal compartments. Let everything dry for 24 hours, then fill only to the MAX line and test. If it still leaks, the internal water tank likely has a crack or the pump connection is loose—this requires service.
Heads Up
Never operate the ice maker on a surface you care about without a drip tray or waterproof mat underneath. Even a perfectly functioning unit can have condensation runoff, which is normal.
