DIAGNOSIS The triple-beep alarm on this model almost always means it thinks the ice basket is full, even if it's not.
FIX The sensor that detects the ice level is a simple mechanical arm inside the basket slot. First, empty the basket completely. Then, look inside the slot where the basket sits. You'll see a small plastic lever or paddle on the side. Manually flick that lever up and down a few times—ice chips or mineral scale can get lodged under it, tricking it into thinking it's stuck in the 'full' position. After clearing it, reinsert the basket firmly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The beeping can also indicate a water shortage. Even if the reservoir looks like it has water, the intake at the bottom might be blocked. Unplug the unit, pull out the reservoir, and check the small round filter on the bottom for any debris. Rinse it under the tap.
HEADS UP If you're using the 'Fast Ice' mode, the machine will beep when it's done with that single rapid cycle. That's a different, single-beep notification, not the alarm.
