DIAGNOSIS That's hard water scale and detergent residue. This model has a built-in water softener, but if it's not set up right or you're using the wrong detergent, you'll get this film.
FIX First, run a diagnostic to check your water hardness setting. Press and hold the "Heated Dry" and "Start" buttons for 3 seconds. The lights will flash a code. The number of flashes corresponds to the hardness setting (1-9). If it's set too low for your water, increase it via the same menu. Also, only use rinse aid and make sure the dispenser is full.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The real culprit might be your detergent. This dishwasher is designed for pods or liquid, not powdered detergent. Powder often doesn't fully dissolve, especially on shorter cycles. Switch to a liquid gel or a pod and run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar on the top rack to clean out residual powder.
HEADS UP Don't skip the rinse aid. The "Sensor Dry" feature on this model literally measures how well rinse aid is sheeting water off the dishes to decide when to stop drying. No rinse aid means wet, spotted dishes.
