Diagnosis
This is almost always a Wi-Fi signal issue that gets worse at night. It's not the camera's power, it's the connection dropping when household network traffic changes or signal weakens.
How to Fix It
Check the camera's signal strength in the app. Go to the device's Settings > Device Info > Signal Strength. If it's fair or poor, that's your culprit. For an outdoor camera, walls and distance kill signal. Try a Wi-Fi extender that creates a separate 2.4GHz network, and connect the camera to that. Also, ensure your router isn't on a scheduled reboot or that a "Green" or "Eco" mode isn't reducing power at night.
If That Didn't Work
It could be IP address conflicts. In your router's admin settings, set a static IP address or DHCP reservation for the camera's MAC address (found in the Wyze app under Device Info). This prevents it from getting a new, possibly conflicting IP when the DHCP lease renews overnight.
Heads Up
If you're using Cam Plus and have smart detection features on, the camera is doing more processing. A weak signal combined with heavy data uploads (like frequent event recordings) can push it over the edge into a disconnect. Lowering detection sensitivity or turning off 24/7 continuous recording (if enabled) can sometimes stabilize a marginal connection.
