How to Fix It

To recover the unit, you must completely evacuate all moisture from the internal components before attempting another power cycle. Follow these steps precisely:

1. Immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and the base of the unit to prevent further electrical arcing.
2. Remove the inner pot, the sealing ring, and the lid to reduce the overall weight and allow better airflow.
3. Turn the base upside down on a clean, dry towel. This allows gravity to pull water away from the control panel and out through the bottom vents.
