after the latest update, my s9+ won't connect to wifi. it just blinks red on the clean button and the app can't find it.

DIAGNOSIS A failed firmware update or network settings corruption. The solid red light on the Clean button indicates a Wi-Fi connectivity fault.

FIX Perform a factory reset on the robot. Press and hold the SPOT, DOCK, and CLEAN buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds until the robot plays a tone. Release. This resets network settings. Re-setup the robot in the iRobot app as if new.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network. The s9+ does not connect to 5 GHz bands. Temporarily disable any firewall or access point isolation (client isolation) settings on your router during setup.

HEADS UP After a factory reset, you must also delete the old robot from your iRobot app account before attempting the new setup, otherwise the app will show conflicts.
