Diagnosis
The continuous beeping without starting is a safety alert from your Bella Air Fryer. This model uses multiple sensors to prevent unsafe operation. The most common triggers are an improperly seated frying basket or a missing/misaligned crisping tray (the perforated insert). The unit's computer checks for these components before allowing the heating element and fan to engage.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps to reset the safety system:
- Unplug the unit for 30 seconds to perform a full reset.
- Plug it back in. Ensure the frying basket handle is fully pushed down until you hear and feel a distinct click into the locked position.
- Open the basket and confirm the ceramic crisping tray is correctly installed inside, sitting flat and not tilted or upside down. It must be fully seated on the basket's bottom supports.
- Close and lock the basket again. Set your desired time and temperature, then press the Start button firmly.
If That Didn't Work
If the beeping persists, the issue may be a faulty sensor or a more specific component failure.
- Check for any food debris or grease blocking the basket's locking mechanism or the slot where it inserts into the main body. Clean these areas thoroughly.
- Try the start sequence with the basket removed entirely. If it still beeps, the problem is internal.
- For internal faults, common culprits are a failed door switch, a malfunctioning main control board, or a loose thermal sensor. These require professional repair or replacement.

Never attempt to bypass the safety locks or operate the air fryer with the basket open or the crisping tray missing, as this can lead to overheating, fire risk, or damage to the ceramic non-stick coating.
