Check the polarized plug. One blade is wider than the other. It fits in the outlet only one way. If it doesn't fit, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact an electrician. Do not modify the plug.
Ensure the frying basket is fully closed. The unit will not operate unless the frying basket is locked securely into the front of the Air Fryer.
