How to Fix It
To clean the Motor Base safely and effectively:
- Always unplug the base from the wall outlet.
- Dampen a soft cloth with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap. Wring it out thoroughly so it is damp, not dripping wet.
- Wipe down all exterior surfaces of the base, including the power cord. Pay special attention to the silicone seal ring on the blending platform.
- Use a dry cloth to wipe the base completely dry before plugging it in or storing it.
- For the other parts (cups, lids, blades, and the food tray), these are dishwasher-safe. Place them on the top rack of your dishwasher to prevent warping from the intense heat of the bottom rack.
