can i use my greenworks 40v lawn mower on a hill? the manual is confusing.

— asked by Steve

Yes, with a 15-degree maximum slope limit. Exceed that, you risk loss of control and personal injury.

FIX

Do not mow across the slope. Mow up and down. Wear non-slip footwear. Be extra cautious when changing direction.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK

If your hill is steeper than 15 degrees, do not use this mower. Use a manual reel mower or a string trimmer instead.

HEADS UP

Never mow on wet grass on a slope. The risk of slipping is extreme. Always keep a firm footing.
