Yes. It is designed for standalone copy function.
- Power: The printer uses approx. 12 W when performing a standalone copy.
- Process: Place the original document face-down on the scanner glass. Use the 1.44" color LCD display to navigate.
- Settings: Select copy mode (Color, Black/White), quality (High, Standard), and quantity (up to 99 copies). You can reduce or enlarge from 25% to 400%.
- Paper: Load plain paper (64-90 g/m²) in the input tray. Max copy size is 8.5" x 11". Supported envelope type is No. 10.
Initiate the copy. The copy speed is 7.7 ISO cpm (black) and 3.8 ISO cpm (color). Times vary based on page complexity.
If that didn't work: Ensure the printer is in Ready Mode (approx. 4.3 W power consumption). If the LCD is off, press any button to wake it. Check that the input paper tray has paper (100-sheet capacity for plain paper).
Heads up: The copy resolution is 300 x 600 dpi or 720 x 720 dpi. For best text quality, enable the 'Text Enhancement' feature in the copy adjustments menu on the LCD.
