Yes. The basket and the cooking pot are dishwasher safe.
Important note: Put the pot in the dishwasher with the rubber cap still attached. Do not remove the cap for cleaning.
Procedure:
- Let the basket and pot cool completely after use.
- Remove any melted oil or grease from the bottom of the pot first.
- Place them in the dishwasher.
If that didn't work (for stuck-on food): Soak the parts in hot, soapy water for 10-15 minutes first. Use a detergent that cuts grease. For persistent grease stains, a liquid degreaser is recommended.
Heads up: Never immerse the main appliance unit in water or rinse it under the tap. Only wipe the exterior with a damp cloth, ensuring no moisture remains on the control panel.
