cleaned my area rug and now my crosswave smells like wet dog, how do i clean the machine itself?

The smell is coming from stagnant water and debris left in the internal plumbing and dirty tank. You need to do a rinse cycle and let everything dry completely.

1. Empty and rinse the dirty water tank immediately after every use.
2. Fill the clean water tank with plain hot tap water only—no cleaning solution.
3. Run the machine over a hard floor for 2-3 minutes to flush the solution lines and brush roll.
4. Empty the dirty tank again and rinse it.
5. Remove the brush roll and filter (if equipped). Rinse them and let them air dry completely.
6. Leave the empty clean water tank lid open and store the machine in a dry area.

HEADS UP: Never store the machine with liquid in any tank. Always complete a rinse cycle after using cleaning formula to prevent mildew and odors in the internal system.
