dirty tank on my bissell crosswave won't click into place, just wobbles

Cause: Misalignment or debris on the tank or machine interface.

Procedure:

1. Remove both the clean water and dirty water tanks.
2. Inspect the dirty tank's locking tabs for cracks.
3. Inspect the docking area on the machine body for foreign material.
4. Wipe all contact surfaces clean and dry.
5. Align the tank so its shape matches the machine's contour perfectly.
6. Press firmly straight down until you hear an audible click on both sides.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The locking mechanism on the tank is likely broken. This is a physical damage issue not covered by warranty unless it was a defect present at purchase. A replacement tank is required.
