The power cord isn't fully seated. The plug has a locking ring that must click into place.
- Unplug the unit.
- Align the plug with the inlet on the vacuum.
- Push firmly until you hear and feel a distinct click.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The power outlet is faulty. Plug a lamp or phone charger into the same outlet to test it. If the outlet is fine, the unit requires service.
HEADS UP: Never force the plug. Misalignment can damage the electrical contacts. If the plug clicks in but the unit still doesn't power on, contact BISSELL Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 for warranty service.
