bissell crosswave is leaking water all over my floor when i use it

You likely overfilled the clean water tank. There's a specific fill line you need to respect.

  1. Stop using the machine and unplug it.
  2. Empty both the clean water and dirty water tanks completely.
  3. Check the clean water tank. You'll see a 'MAX' fill line. Never fill past this line.
  4. When refilling, pour clean water and solution slowly, watching the line closely.
  5. Ensure the tank lid is locked down securely before reattaching it to the machine.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The seal on the dirty water tank might be misaligned or have debris on it. Remove the dirty tank, clean the rubber gasket around the top rim with a damp cloth, and reseat it firmly until it clicks.

HEADS UP: Using the machine on a steep incline can also cause leaks. Keep it on a relatively flat surface during operation.
