Yes, but only BISSELL formulas or plain hot tap water are officially supported.
- Do use: BISSELL CrossWave formulas, or plain hot tap water (up to 140°F).
- Do NOT use: Other brands of carpet shampoo, laundry detergent, dish soap, vinegar, or pine oil cleaners.
WHY IT MATTERS: Using unauthorized solutions can cause excessive foaming that damages the internal pump and motor. It also voids the warranty for defects caused by that misuse.
HEADS UP: The warranty specifically states it is not voided by the use of non-BISSELL consumables, but damage caused by improper use (like pump failure from soap suds) is not covered. Stick to the approved options.
