First, check if the brush bar is turned on and clear any obstruction wrapped around it.
- Press the brush bar control button on the left side of the handle (next to the power button) to turn it on. The button should be depressed.
- Unplug the vacuum. Lay it on its back and remove the Motorbar cleaner head by pressing the red button on the ball's underside.
- Press the button on the back of the cleaner head and push the end cap upwards 90° to release it. Pull the brush bar out.
- Remove all hair, thread, or debris from around the brush bar and the cleaner head housing.
- Push the brush bar firmly back in until fully seated. Rotate the end cap until it clicks locked. Reattach the cleaner head to the ball until the red button clicks.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The suction control slider on the front of the cleaner head might be in the wrong position. For low-pile carpets, the slider should be in the center position. For deep-pile, position it to the left.
HEADS UP: The brush bar is not washable. Only clear obstructions; do not run it under water. Check it regularly to maintain performance.
