The machine has an automatic thermal cut-out triggered by a blockage or overheating. Unplug it and let it cool for at least 30 minutes.
While it cools, locate and clear the blockage:
- Primary Check: The bin. Empty it if it's at or above the MAX fill line.
- Secondary Check: The filters. If Filter A (in the bin) or Filter B (in the ball) are clogged or damp, they will cause overheating. Remove, wash with cold water if dirty, and ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling.
- Tertiary Check: Full system blockage. Follow the standard blockage clearance: cleaner head, wand, hose, and airways (inspection panel in bin recess, cuff above ball).
After clearing all blockages and ensuring filters are dry and clean, plug the machine back in and press the power button.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If it immediately cuts out again, a component may have failed. Check that the cable is securely wrapped around the cable hooks and the plug connection is firm. Persistent cut-out indicates a need for service.
HEADS UP: Never use the machine with a damp filter. It must dry for a minimum of 24 hours after washing. Using it wet will cause damage and trigger the cut-out.
