dyson pure cool tp04 remote control not working, buttons do nothing

The remote control battery is dead or installed incorrectly.

Fix:

1. Unscrew the battery compartment on the remote control.
2. Remove the old battery. The battery type is CR 2032.
3. Install a new CR 2032 battery. Do not install it backwards or short circuit the batteries.
4. Securely replace the screw in the remote control compartment.

If that didn't work, keep the remote control away from strong magnets. The remote contains magnets which can affect pacemakers, defibrillators, credit cards, and electronic storage media.
