That's the blockage alert. The motor pulses and the machine cuts out when it detects a blockage. You must clear it before using the machine again.
- Disconnect the machine from the charger. Do not touch the trigger.
- Remove the bin. Check the main body, especially the air inlet on the right-hand side where the bin joins.
- Check the wand for blockages at both ends.
- Check the cleaner head. Turn it over and clear any debris from the brush bar and air inlet. For the Digital Motorbar head, you may need to remove the brush bar with a coin.
If that didn't work: A partial blockage might remain. Ensure all parts are refitted securely before trying again. The machine will not operate if the pulsing alert is active.
Heads up: Never use the machine to look for blockages; this could cause injury. Let it cool down first. Clearing blockages isn't covered by your guarantee.
