DIAGNOSIS Error E1 indicates a water shortage or a problem with the water inlet system. The machine does not detect sufficient water to begin the ice-making cycle.
FIX First, check the external water reservoir is fully seated and filled to the MAX line. Second, ensure the internal water pump is not obstructed. Unplug the unit, remove the reservoir, and check the intake valve at the base of the unit for debris.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The float sensor inside the machine may be stuck or faulty. Gently tap the side of the unit to free a stuck float. If E1 persists, the sensor requires service.
HEADS UP Always use the provided reservoir. The E1 code will also appear if you attempt to connect a direct water line that is not supplying adequate pressure or volume.
