getting a 'le' or 'le2' error code on my wm4000hwa, it stops mid-cycle.

DIAGNOSIS "LE" is a motor error. "LE2" is a motor hall sensor error. The main control board is not receiving correct signals from the direct drive motor.

FIX Unplug the washer for 10 minutes. This is a critical reset for the motor control electronics. Plug it back in and try a rinse/spin cycle with an empty drum.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The hall sensor or wiring harness in the motor assembly may have failed. This requires a technician to test the motor resistance and connections. It is not a user-serviceable part.

HEADS UP Ignoring repeated LE/LE2 errors can lead to complete motor or main control board failure. If the reset doesn't clear it, call for service.
