You'll want to clean it after every use. The basket and crisper plate are dishwasher-safe, or you can wash them with hot, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn grease, here's a method.
- Unplug the air fryer and let everything cool completely.
- Make a paste with 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of water.
- Spread the paste on the greasy areas with a sponge. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse and then wash with soap and water before using again.
If that didn't work: Never use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners—they'll damage the nonstick coating. You can also try soaking the parts in hot, soapy water first.
