Diagnosis
The rear magnetic intake filter is blocked. This restricts airflow, causing the thermal cut-off to trip repeatedly and the dryer to shut down.
How to Fix It
Unplug the dryer and let it cool. The rear grille is magnetic. Pull it straight off. Wash the filter grille under warm water with a mild soap. Use a soft brush to remove all lint from the mesh. Let it air dry completely before snapping it back on.
If That Didn't Work
Lint has gotten past the filter and packed the internal fan and heater fins. You must open the housing and use compressed air to blast lint out from the inside. Do this outdoors.
Heads Up
Clean the filter every two weeks with regular use. A clogged filter is the primary cause of thermal fuse failure. Never run the dryer without the filter installed.
