Diagnosis
Power is not reaching the internal components. The most common cause is a blown thermal fuse on the main circuit board.
How to Fix It
Unplug the dryer. Remove the rear intake grille. Locate the small, white ceramic thermal fuse soldered to the board. Test it for continuity. If it's blown, desolder and replace it with an identical 184°C / 363°F thermal fuse. Reassemble.
If That Didn't Work
Check the power cord where it enters the handle for internal breaks. Use a multimeter to test cord continuity. A broken cord requires a full cord replacement, not a splice.
Heads Up
A blown thermal fuse is a safety trip from overheating. After replacement, always use the dryer on high heat for short bursts, not continuous low heat, to prevent a repeat.
