It's a straightforward process if you take it step-by-step. Always start by unplugging the unit from the wall.

1. Open the front cover: Grip the top part and pull it straight out towards you.
2. Remove the Pre-filter: Press down on the top clip and pull the filter out carefully to avoid shaking dust loose.
3. Clean the Pre-filter: You can vacuum it or rinse it with water, depending on how dirty it is. Do this every 2 to 4 weeks.
4. Dry it completely: This is crucial. Make sure there is zero moisture left on the Pre-filter before you put it back.
5. Reinstall: Fit the Pre-filter back in correctly, making sure it hooks in place. Then close the front cover firmly.

Important: The other two filters—the Deodorization filter and the True HEPA filter—are not cleanable. Never use water on them. When the filter replacement indicator light comes on, you need to replace those.
