The filter replacement indicator light turns on based on the unit's internal timer for filter usage. The RESET button tells the unit you have installed new filters, resetting the timer.
Procedure:
- Replace the indicated filter (Deodorization or True HEPA filter. The Pre-filter is reusable).
- With the unit powered ON, press the RESET button.
- The filter replacement indicator light will turn off.
Key fact: Only press RESET after physically replacing the non-cleanable filters. Resetting it without replacing dirty filters will cause the unit to continue using clogged filters, severely reducing performance and airflow.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the light remains on after pressing RESET with new filters installed, unplug the unit for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and try the RESET button again.
