Use a soft, dry cloth. An eyeglasses cleaning cloth is ideal.
Procedure:
- Ensure the cloth is smooth, without wrinkles.
- Gently wipe the platen glass (scanner bed) and the inside of the document cover to remove dust or smudges.
- Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
