how do i clean under the deck of my greenworks 40v mower? it's caked with wet grass.

Procedure: Clean after every use, especially after mowing wet grass.

Required steps:

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Tip the mower onto its side, with the air filter cover facing up. Never tip it with the filter facing down.
3. Use a brush, plastic scraper, or hose to remove caked grass from the underside of the deck and the blade area.
4. Ensure the discharge chute and all openings are clear.

Additional checklist:

• Inspect the blade for damage. Replace if bent or deeply nicked.
• Ensure the mower is completely dry before storage.
• Store in a dry, covered location.

If problem persists: You are mowing grass that is too wet or too tall. Mow when grass is dry, and never cut more than 1/3 of the grass height per session.
