Battery is depleted or a safety interlock disengaged.

  1. Check the battery indicator. If no lights show, the battery is dead. Install a charged battery.
  2. If the battery has charge, release and re-engage the safety handle. You must hold it down against the main handle for the mower to run.
  3. Ensure the handle is still locked in the operating position. If it partially folded, the mower shuts off.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The mower may have overheated from cutting wet grass or being clogged. Remove the battery. Clear any blockage under the deck. Let the mower cool for 15-20 minutes, then try again with a charged battery.

HEADS UP: Avoid mowing in very tall, wet grass. It overloads the motor and drains the battery fast.
